Property building in International Budget Hostel City Center
The property is situated in a convenient location with a historic and well decorated front and an interesting steep staircase which is characteristic of the city of Amsterdam and the period in which the building was built. It is a good city for young people and people of every age. The reception staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and let me sit in the lounge/waiting area with access to the kettle/coffee before I could check in as I arrived early, so it was no problem arriving in the morning. I was in a shared bedroom with 8 others and there were plenty of points for charging, and plus it was not too crowded or noisy so I could rest in the day when I arrived to be awake for the evening’s exploring. There were also curtains to use if needed. I thought the lounge/smoking area was tidy and sociable and there was fresh filler herb for anyone to use. People made conversation and there was a general friendly vibe.

Staff were absolutely lovely. Couldn't do enough to help you and keep you informed. Felt safe there. I had requested a bottom bunk and this was delivered by them. I was very happy about that. Everything was clean. Coffee machine was always in use, so I'm guessing it must of been good (I don't drink coffee so can't personally review that). I was in a women's dorm, beds were clean, lockers were clean and roomy. There was a mirror with lights around, great for doing your makeup in. Place was quite too, and I was there on a Friday night. The only negative thing I could pick at was the stairs from the front door, there a bit stairs of death. But that's old Dutch buildings so there like that in alot of buildings. I would stay there again.

I like it that the hostel has no age limit. Everyone can stay there as long as they can take care of themselves even if they are old. Staffs are nice , kind and ready to help. They are kind to everyone. No look down on people. The staff are relaxed and lay back. No stress in check in , out, and leave the baggage (2€/one). Location ist great! The shower room is shared within the roommate. I found it great. It is also bigger than normal. It is good they have room for women only. I like it a lot! The mattress is hard which is good to me. With the price and the service provided, I think the hostel deserves a higher average rating!

Excellent hostel! Walkable to everything!!! Groceries, restaurants, bars, shopping, cafes!!! It's a 12 minute walk from the main train station, rolling my luggage on old cobble stone sidewalks. A 25 minute walk to a river cruise to see beautiful Praha!!! A 6 minute walk to Pytloun Sky restaurant rooftop bar to see a 360 view of beautiful Praha!!! Cute fully equipped kitchen with a garden view while cooking, terrace is amazing to eat outside!!!The staff are amazing and full of LOVE!!!🤍
